Do I receive five separate keys or one key for all five PCs?
You receive five activations, delivered either as five individual product keys or as one key that carries five activations, and the email tells you which format your order shipped in. Both formats behave the same way for you: each PC gets one activation, entered inside Office on that machine. If you receive five keys, we recommend writing down which key was used on which computer, because two years from now, when a laptop is replaced, you will want to know which seat is free. If you receive one key with five activations, you type the same key on each PC and Microsoft's servers count the activations as they happen. Either way, there is no requirement to activate all five on the same day; the unused activations simply wait for the next machine. What you cannot do is stretch the pack to a sixth PC. Once five activations are used, a sixth attempt will fail or will eventually deactivate one of the others. If you need more seats, order another pack or single keys and we will send them the same way. If the email is unclear about the format, or you are not sure how many activations remain, contact our support team with your order number and we will check for you.
Can the five PCs be a mix of Windows 10 and Windows 11, 32-bit and 64-bit?
Yes, the pack does not care how the five machines are configured, as long as each one runs Windows 10 or Windows 11. You can put 64-bit Office on a new Windows 11 desktop, 32-bit Office on an older Windows 10 machine that still needs a legacy accounting add-in, and anything in between. The same key or keys activate any of those combinations. The only thing that matters is that each computer uses one activation. In a mixed fleet the download link in our email serves both installers, so pick 64-bit for machines with 4 GB of RAM or more and no old add-in dependencies, and 32-bit only where something specific forces it. Remember that Windows 11 is 64-bit only, so a Windows 11 PC should get 64-bit Office. On a given PC you cannot mix 32-bit and 64-bit Office components, and if an older 32-bit Office is already installed the installer will insist on matching it until you uninstall the old version. What the pack will not cover is Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, since Office 2019 requires Windows 10 at minimum. If some of your PCs are still on those systems, our Office 2016 Professional Plus 5 PC pack is the version to choose for them.
Is this a volume license, and can my small business use it legitimately?
The keys are genuine Microsoft Office 2019 Professional Plus keys from the channel Microsoft used for organizations, not retail boxes and not OEM stickers, and small businesses are exactly who buys this pack. Professional Plus was never sold to consumers in shops; it existed for companies, which is why it contains Outlook, Access and Publisher rather than stopping at the four home apps. The software you install is the standard Microsoft build downloaded from the standard installer, and it activates online against Microsoft's servers. For a small business, that means an invoice from us for your records, keys on file, and five working installations. If your organization is subject to formal software audits or requires a paper Volume Licensing agreement in the company's own name, speak to whoever handles compliance before ordering, because that is a procurement question rather than a technical one. For the typical accountancy, clinic, shop or agency with a handful of PCs, this pack is the practical answer and it is how most of our business customers buy Office. We are happy to issue an invoice with your company details on it; just ask our support team after ordering. Keep the delivery email and the invoice together in your records, and a future audit question becomes a two-minute answer rather than a scramble.
Can I move an activation from an old PC to a new one when I replace a computer?
Each activation is intended for the PC it was first used on, so when a computer is retired the plan should be to use a spare activation from the pack rather than to move the old one. That is one of the practical advantages of buying five seats: most small offices activate three or four PCs on day one and keep the rest for replacements. Reinstalling Windows on the same machine, swapping a hard drive, adding RAM or changing a graphics card does not use a new activation; Microsoft still recognizes the same computer and the key reactivates. A new motherboard or a completely different PC is a different story, and the license is not designed to follow it. If you have already used all five activations and a machine dies, do not simply give up. Write to our support team with your order number, tell us which PC failed and what you are replacing it with, and we will look at what can be done for your case. We also suggest keeping that list of which key went to which PC, because it makes this kind of conversation quick and lets you see at a glance how many activations you have left.
How long does delivery take for a 5 PC order, and what is in the email?
Delivery is by email and usually arrives within a few minutes of payment, the same as for a single license. The email contains the product keys for the pack, either five individual keys or one key with five activations, plus a download link for the Office 2019 Professional Plus installer in 32-bit and 64-bit, and a short set of installation notes. Nothing is shipped physically, so there is nothing to sign for and no courier to wait on. If your payment method triggers a manual review, the email follows as soon as the payment is confirmed, and our support team can tell you the status at any hour. If nothing has arrived after twenty minutes, check the spam and promotions folders and make sure the email address on the order was typed correctly. If it is still missing, message us with the order number and we resend. We suggest forwarding the email to whoever will be doing the installations and saving a copy in your business records next to the invoice, because you will want the keys again if any of the five PCs is ever reinstalled. Businesses that need an invoice with their company name and address can request it from us after the order.
Do I need a Microsoft account for each of the five PCs?
No, Office 2019 Professional Plus activates with the product key alone, so none of the five PCs needs a Microsoft account to install or activate the suite. When Word opens for the first time, choose "Enter a product key instead" of signing in, type the key, and click Activate. This is very convenient in a small office where staff come and go, because you do not have to create logins for each seat or tie the company's software to one person's personal account. Signing in remains an option, not a requirement. If an employee wants OneDrive saving or a synced recent-files list, they can sign in with their own account after activation and the license is unaffected. Signing out later does not deactivate anything either, because the license lives with the key and the hardware, not the account. This is different from consumer editions like Home and Student, where the key is first redeemed against a Microsoft account. One thing to watch is that Windows 11 sometimes nags users to sign in to a preinstalled Microsoft 365 trial; remove that trial before installing our copy so the two do not fight over which license the apps should use. If you would rather keep every seat account-free, simply dismiss the sign-in prompt; Office works fully without it.
Does Office 2019 still receive updates, and is it safe for an office to use?
Office 2019 reached the end of Microsoft support on October 14, 2025, which means no new security patches or feature updates are released for it, though everything published before that date still installs automatically when you set up the suite. Whether that is safe enough depends on what your five PCs do all day. An office that works mostly on its own documents, spreadsheets and invoices, with staff who know not to open unexpected attachments, runs a modest risk, and many of our business customers accept that in exchange for a very low price per seat. An office that receives files from the public constantly, or one bound by a client or insurer's security requirements, should be on a supported version. For those cases we sell the Office 2021 Professional Plus 5 PC pack, patched until October 2026, and Office 2024 Professional Plus, patched until October 2029. Whatever version you choose, keep Windows updates turned on, use a current browser, and consider a reputable antivirus, since most Office-based attacks rely on the operating system or the user rather than the suite alone. Our own support for your keys continues regardless of Microsoft's schedule. Machines that never touch the internet, such as a workshop PC or a point-of-sale terminal, are the safest fit for an out-of-support suite.
What is the difference between this pack and buying five single Office 2019 licenses?
The software is identical; the pack simply costs less per PC and arrives as one order with one invoice. Five single Office 2019 Professional Plus keys would cost five times the single price, while the pack brings the per-seat cost down to roughly a third of that, so even if you only need three PCs today and keep two activations in reserve, the pack usually wins on price. Beyond money, the pack is easier to manage. Your accountant sees one line item, you have one email to keep, and one order number to quote if you ever need support. Single licenses make more sense if you truly have one PC, or if you want to spread purchases out over time as machines arrive, since spare activations in a pack cannot be sold on or split between different owners. Some customers buy a pack for the office and a single key for a home laptop, which keeps business and personal purchases separate for tax purposes. If you are between the two, count the PCs you will realistically own in the next two years, including replacements; if the answer is two or more, the pack is the sensible buy and the spare seats will not go to waste.
How does Office 2019 Professional Plus compare with Office 2021 for a small office?
Office 2021 Professional Plus is the newer suite with support until October 2026 and a handful of useful additions; Office 2019 is older, out of support since October 2025, and considerably cheaper per seat. Both contain the same eight-app lineup, except that 2021 replaces the Skype for Business client with Teams. The additions in 2021 that a small office actually notices are in Excel, where XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays and the LET function make some spreadsheets far simpler, plus a dark mode across the apps, better co-authoring when files sit on OneDrive or SharePoint, and a refreshed look that matches Windows 11. Word, Outlook and PowerPoint are otherwise very close in day-to-day use. If your staff live in Excel and build complex sheets, or if you need a supported version for compliance reasons, the Office 2021 Professional Plus 5 PC pack is worth the difference. If your work is letters, invoices, simple spreadsheets and email, Office 2019 does all of it and the money saved buys something else for the office. You can also mix: 2019 on general-purpose PCs and 2021 on the finance machine. Both are one-time purchases with no subscription. Whichever version you pick, the installation and activation steps are the same, so mixing them adds no extra work for whoever sets up the PCs.
Can I install Office 2019 Pro Plus on a laptop and a desktop used by the same person?
Yes, but the laptop and the desktop count as two PCs and use two of your five activations. Office 2019 Professional Plus licenses are per device, not per person, so a single user with two machines needs two seats regardless of the fact that only one is in use at a time. That is a difference from Microsoft 365, which licenses a person and lets them sign in on several devices, and it is one reason a 5 PC pack suits small offices where the owner has a desk PC and a travel laptop and two or three staff have one machine each. Plan your seat count around devices. A common layout for this pack is three staff desktops, the owner's laptop and a reception or shared PC. Virtual machines count as devices too: a Windows VM running on a Mac or on a server is one seat. Remote Desktop into a single PC does not consume extra seats, because Office is installed and activated once on that host. If you find your device count creeping past five, another pack is cheaper than juggling activations, and we deliver it the same way within minutes. If you retire the laptop later, its seat stays used, so plan replacements around the spare activations you kept back from the pack.
What error codes should I expect during activation, and what do they mean?
The most common codes on Office 2019 are 0xC004C003, 0x80070005 and 0xC004F074, and each points to a specific cause that is usually fixable in minutes. 0xC004C003 means the activation server rejected the key, and in a fresh setup it is almost always because a Microsoft 365 trial or an older Office is still installed and the apps are trying to activate against that instead. Remove the other Office, restart, and enter the key again from File, Account, Change Product Key. 0x80070005 is an access denied error from Windows; running Word as administrator once and retrying normally clears it. 0xC004F074 indicates that Office could not reach the activation service, so check the PC clock and time zone, disconnect any VPN, and make sure a firewall is not blocking Microsoft addresses. You may also see a plain "Unlicensed Product" banner with no code, which often just means Office needs to be closed and reopened after activation. When you write to our support team, include the code, the Windows version and which of the five PCs it is, and we will walk you through it. If a key really is faulty and cannot be fixed, we replace it or refund you. Write the code down exactly as shown, including the letters, since a single wrong character sends us looking in the wrong direction.
Is the pack region-locked or limited to one language?
No, the keys are global and they work with any language of the Office 2019 Professional Plus installer, so a five-PC office in Toronto, Sydney, Dubai or Dallas uses the same pack the same way. Microsoft ties Office keys to the product edition, not to a country, and activation only needs an internet connection and a correctly set clock. The language of each installation is chosen when you download the installer, and you can add further language packs afterward inside Office under File, Options, Language at no extra charge. That makes the pack handy for bilingual offices: one PC can run English menus and another Spanish or French, all from the same purchase. Proofing tools, spell check and grammar follow the language you install. The date and time settings on each PC do need to be correct for activation to pass, which trips up more people than the region question ever does. We ship keys to customers in many countries every day, and if you want to confirm that a specific language or a specific Windows regional setting is fine before ordering, ask our support team and we will answer straight away. Keys bought here are the same edition wherever you install them, so there is no separate US, EU or Asia version to worry about.
Can I reinstall Office 2019 on one of the five PCs after formatting it?
Yes, formatting a PC and reinstalling Windows does not use up an additional activation, because Microsoft still recognizes the same hardware when you reactivate. Download the installer again from the link in our email, install it, open Word, choose "Enter a product key instead" and type the key that belongs to that PC. Activation goes through as it did the first time and your seat count is unchanged. This is where the habit of noting which key went to which PC pays off, especially if you received five individual keys, since you want to reuse the right one rather than accidentally burning a fresh activation. Before you wipe a machine, back up the Outlook data file, normally under Documents, Outlook Files, because email, calendar and contacts for POP and some IMAP accounts live there rather than on the server. Custom Word templates and Excel add-ins are worth copying too. If you have lost the delivery email, contact our support team with the address used at checkout and we will resend it. If reactivation fails right after a major Windows upgrade, which occasionally happens, send us the error code and we will get that PC activated again. The whole reinstall, including download time on a normal connection, usually takes under half an hour per machine.
What is your refund policy on the 5 PC pack?
If any key in the pack fails to activate and our support team cannot fix it, we replace that key or refund you, and that applies to each of the five activations individually. In most cases an activation problem is not the key: a leftover trial, a wrong system date, a blocked connection or a 32-bit versus 64-bit mismatch is far more likely, and our team resolves those in one exchange. That is why the first step is to let us look, since almost everyone ends up with five working installations, which is what they came for. When you contact us, include the order number, the error code or message, and, if you can, a screenshot of File, Account on the affected PC. Because the pack is a digital product delivered instantly, we cannot refund a working pack because fewer PCs were needed than expected, or because Office 2021 was later preferred; the software cannot be returned once keys are revealed. Please check the Windows 10 or 11 requirement and count your devices before ordering. Partial refunds for unused activations are not something we can offer, so if you are unsure whether you need three seats or five, ask us first and we will help you decide. Our support is by email and available around the clock, so a problem found on a Sunday evening does not have to wait until Monday.
